Founded in April 2003 and after nearly ten years' development, Baoshun Chemical has two producing bases respectively in Henan Province and Shandong Province now, and the producing base in Xinjiang province is under construction. Among them, the annual deep processing of coal tar of the head office, Anyang Plant, Henan Province , is 650,000.00 tons, and the annual producing capacity of coal tar pitch there is 350,000.00 tons. Juye Plant in Shandong Province has 300,000 tons of annual deep processing of coal tar, which can produce 150,000 tons CTP every year. In addition, the annual deep processing capacity of the first phrase project in the constructed producing base in Fukang City, Xinjiang Province is 300,000 tons. And the first-phrase project can produce 150,000 tons CTP every year, and predicted to start in September, 2012. With the operation of Fukang plant in Xinjiang, Baoshun Chemical will have 1,250,000 tons of deep processing capacity of coal tar, which can produce 650,000.00 tons CTP every year. And then Baoshun Chemical will become the largest supplier in China, even in the world.

Baoshun Chemical specializes in the industrialization and technology R&D of coal tar refine and deep processing. Except for 950,000 tons annual deep processing of coal tar, Baoshun Chemical also has the annual processing capacity of 50,000 tons of wash oil, 50,000 tons of anthracene oil and 3000 tons of crude phenol. Now the product variety has been 32. Now we mainly have coal tar pitch, industrial naphthalene, carbon black oil, anthracene oil, wash oil,2-methylnaphthalene, fluorene, acenaphthene, phenol, m,p-cresol, xylenol, o-cresol, etc..

During the process of development, Baoshun Chemical has always been guided by technology innovation and technology progress. At present, Baoshun Chemical is the only one enterprise of coal tar deep processing that establishes joint R&D Center with domestic well-known universities in China. We established Baoshun-School of Chemical Engineering, Tianjin University joint R&D center with Tianjin University, and Baoshun-DUT cooperative technology R&D Center with Dalian University of Technology. We develop fine chemical products of coal tar and advanced carbon material through these two joint R&D Centers. What's more, Baoshun Chemical is the only one enterprise in China introducing advanced pitch production line from foreign countries. We maintain long-term communication and cooperation with Swiss R&D Corporation, Anshan Iron and Steel Design Institute and Pangang Group Design Institute to develop new technology and new products of fine and further processing of coal tar together. On the whole, for now both the production scale and technology of Baoshun Chemical firmly rank first among domestic counterparts.
