CNOOC Tianjin Research and Design Institute of Chemical Industrial (abbreviated as CNOOC-TRICI) founded in 1958, was one of the key scientific research institutes of the former Ministry of Chemical Industry of P.R. China. Now it is subordinated to China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).
Tianjin Zhengda Science and Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned industrialization base of CNOOC-TRICI, It is a hi-tech industrialization demonstration project that approved and supported by National development and Reform Committee. Also it is the largest production enterprise of industrial water treatment chemicals in China. It is located in Tianjin Airport Logistics Processing Area. It covers an area of 28,000 square meter, the building area is 15,000 square meter, the gross investment is USD 9,000,000.
National Research Center of Industrial Water Treatment Engineering and Technology was approved by Ministry of Science and Technology and established in 1998, it is part of TNOOC-TRICI, and all the employees and technologies are subject to TNOOC-TRICI.National Research Center of Industrial Water Treatment Engineering and Technology was approved by Ministry of Science and Technology in 2008, and merged into Tianjin Zhengda Science and Technology Co., Ltd., and transferred to Airport Logistics Processing Area of Binhai new Area in Tianjin.
Tianjin Zhengda Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (National Research Center of Industrial Water Treatment Engineering and Technology) is available to produce 15,000 tons of new type industrial water treatment chemicals, 30,000 tons of industrial water saving specialty chemicals and kiloton of petrochemical catalysts and carriers. It is well appointed with advanced water treatment experiment equipments, such as multifunctional recycling cooling water dynamic analog experiment equipment and industrial waste water treatment joint experiment equipment. The pilot plant and production base covers an area of 10000 square meters, the modern logistics storehouse takes up an area of 6000 square meters, and the research building and technology training base occupy of 15000 square meters. It is equipped with national boiler water treatment and oil field chemicals experiment platform and more than 150 kinds of water treatment analyzing and testing instruments. It has set a postdoctoral workstation also. It has engaged in the significant research of Eighth, Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Five-Year Project; it has greatly contributed to the rapid development of industrial water treatment technology.
