Migun was originally founded in 1988 as the Han Yul Energy Co., Ltd.
(Han-Korean Yul-Heat). In 1994, after further progression and development of the first Migun Thermal Massage Table, the company changed its name to Migun Medical Instrument, Ltd. Migun Medical Instrument has its own manufacturing
plant in Daejon, South Korea, which is capable of producing up to 300 units a day.
In 1998, Sang C. Han brought Migun to the United States starting with Migun Global Corporation. After a national reorganization in 2003, Migun Global changed its name to Migun USA Corp.
Migun has always been the leader of its industry. It was the first to create Far
Infrared rays technology, which is a form of heat that is able to penetrate the body in a way similar to acupuncture in that it is able to stimulate the nervous system, thus potentially jump-starting the connected muscles or organs. This ultimately helps to create a harmonious environment for the body to heal itself
more easily.
Migun was also the first company to go worldwide in marketing thermal massage beds and the first of its kind to receive an approval from the FDA as a Class II medical device. After years of hard work and ingenuity, the following is an abbreviated list of Migun product ccomplishments.
