UMC was established in 1951 as a supplier of replacement spare parts (primarily chassis parts) . Consequent to establishing a firm customer base, the company ventured into manufacturing. With backward integration as its aim, a small manufacturing unit for multi-leaf springs and u-bolts was set up. From a very small beginning envisaged to cater to the domestic aftermarket, today the UMC group has grown substantially.
Besides manufacturing leaf springs, u-bolts and shackle / spring pins we also market various allied chassis and other parts such as coil springs, shackles, pins, bushes, torque arm bolts, hangers, brackets and rubber parts etc.
