Tong Ta Rubber Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 1969 and has been engaging in tire retreading business for 40 years. We are one of the top three tire retreads in Taiwan with an annual production of 70 thousand pieces of quality and stable truck tires. Tong Ta invested 30 million dollars in 2001 in modifying manufacturing process and improving factory environment. Environment has tempered our will through all these years while we still proudly abide by our motto. That is "to run our business with accountability, responsibility, creativity, and excellence". We are the first tire retread in the field to acquire both ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications, and we are the index factory that has VPC (Certificate of the Voluntary Certification). Tong Ta persists in our spirit: dig deep to get the truth and do the right things and do the things right.
As a result, our high quality retreading tires not only have nice appearance, but also have won the privilege of The Only Recommended Rail Tire Company in Asia approved by Goodyear Corporation with GRR (Goodyear Recommended Retreader) Certification. In addition, we have received the assistance from Corporate Synergy Development Center in establishing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Techniques for equipment and modifying manufacturing process.
Abiding by our principle of exploring new corporative value, and seeking for excellence, Tong Ta participated in the project of Conventional Industry Technology Development (CITD) held by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in the year of 2008; hence we expanded our reach into solid tire retreading, based on our developed rail and pneumatic tire techniques. We have become the only retread in the nation who retreads solid tires, and the products we make have extremely long effective product duration.
With advanced techniques, Tong Ta devised rubber finger (for removing hair from pigs or sheep) and rubber rod (for removing feather from ducks or chickens). Also, Tong Ta produces precure curing flap and low temperature vacuum pumping rubber wicking pad for the tire retreading business. The effective product duration and durability of the above mentioned devices are longer than those made in Italy. Now, Tong Ta plunges itself into developing aerial lift solid tires and preparing to launch into international markets.
