Established in March 1993, Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. is a Sino-Japan joint automobile manufacturing enterprise. Nissan Automobile Business Corporation holds 30% stock share while Dongfeng Joint Stock Co., Ltd. has 51% and Light Duty Automobile Factory with 19%. We are an important manufacturing base for Nissan in China.
Headquartered in Zhengzhou, we have workshop covering an area of 810,000 square meters. We employ 1,900 staff members and have introduced 47 production lines, which ensure us an annual output of 60,000 automobiles. In 1999, we passed the ISO09001 quality certification. We have also passed several other national and international quality tests.
Leading products of Zhengzhou Nissan are Nissan pickups and its refitted cars, such multifunctional vehicles as Paladin. Since our entry into the market in 1999, nearly at the same time with Nissan Company, our Nissan D22 pickup has won extensive endearment of customers for its high quality and high faithfulness of over 85%. In the successive three years, it maintained over 50% market share in the top grade pickup market. In April 2004, a satisfaction survey on product quality sponsored by over 60 guilds in China is organized. Nissan D22 pickup was honored with the title of "the Top One with Customers' Satisfaction with High Grade Pickup". Paladin is a sports vehicle developed by Nissan in 2002. Since its entry into the market in March 2003, it has successively won many prizes, including "the Most Fashion Leading Car", "the Mostly Welcomed SUV by Customers", "the Most Oil Saving SUV". Presently, it takes up 45% SUV market share of the same grade in the same period.
Zhengzhou Nissan strengthens the omnibearing cooperation with the Japanese Nissan Company in the field of manufacture, management and sales, and brings in the advanced operational mode from Japan. At present, we have established 31 offices, nearly 170 exclusive shops, developed over 200 sales agents, over 270 contracted service stations in China. We have basically formed a feasible sales and service network in general cars, accessories, information feedback and after-sales services and have gained extensive recognition and appraise from the market, showing the competitive edge in brand and quality.
